Website Change Request Policy
Textual content edits and updates:
- For all edits to existing pages, such as changes in rates, employee names, deletions, typos, etc. an email sent to websolutions@fiserv.com with instructions will suffice. You may also contact a project coordinator directly via phone at 678-245-7327. If scanned copies or print-outs of the pages that need editing are provided instead, those edits should be legibly marked on each page.
- New pages of content should be provided as an email attachment (word or excel preferably). Documents need to be saved in .html, word .doc, or excel .xls format.
- Hard copies of new information not provided in the acceptable formats mentioned above may delay completion and could incur additional development cost.
- Authorized bank personnel responsible for submitting website changes should indicate precisely where within the website the new content is to be placed and/or edited.
Photographs and images:
- Photograph and image replacements should be supplied in either .jpg, .gif, .tif, or .png format
- Images can also be supplied on disk or hard copy for scanning. Fiserv will resize and optimize those images as needed.
- Authorized bank personnel responsible for submitting website changes should indicate precisely where within the website the new images are to be placed.
Out of Scope Maintenance IS DEFINED as follows:
- Redesign of a web site's homepage or interior pages (If your institution is interested in redesigning its web site, please consult your project coordinator to learn more about the redesign packages we offer).
- Restructuring of a web site's entire navigation system.
- Creating new logos or branding images.
- Troubleshooting code created or corrupted by a third party other than Fiserv.
- Interactive components or functionality additions
Please note: Fiserv can and will make out of scope changes mentioned in the above list at your request. These changes, however, are subject to our standard hourly development fee as defined by your hosting contract. After consulting bank personnel, and before beginning work, your Fiserv project coordinator will provide an estimate of how many hours of development we believe the requested changes will require. Due to site volume and our commitment to efficiency, the Fiserv web development team may decline maintenance and updates to sites that were not designed and developed by Fiserv, where the timing or scheduling of content changes is so critical that other projects and responsibilities of the Fiserv web development staff would be compromised as a result.
Turnaround time
- Fiserv requests a maximum of 24 to 48 hours for regular content updates delivered via email, although this time may be extended should we receive those changes in hard copy format
- Regular maintenance requests not included in the out of scope list and received prior to 12pm EDT/EST will be completed in the same business day. Regular maintenance requests not included in the out of scope list received after 12pm EDT/EST will be completed by following business day before 12pm EDT/EST. *The exception to this rule occurs when the breadth or volume of the requested changes may cause those changes to exceed one hour of development. In that case, Fiserv will consult with bank personnel and provide an estimate of development hours.
- Updates may take longer for any of the following reasons: updates are submitted during a holiday, content is provided on paper, content is provided in an illegible format, requires extensive typing, or involves table reformatting.
- Out of scope or extensive maintenance requests may exceed our standard SLA of 24 to 48 hours. Your Fiserv project coordinator will provide a time frame in accordance with the nature of those requests
